Perception of Reality

This amazing interview was done back in 1985 with a former KGB agent who was trained in subversion techniques. He explains the 4 basic steps to socially engineering entire generations into thinking and behaving the way those in power want them to. It's shocking because our nation has been transformed in the exact same way, and followed the exact same steps.

"Psychological warfare, basically what it means is to change the perception of reality... of every American... to such an extent that despite the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions."

The former KGB agent explains how "interference" happens as an individual who is demoralized is unable to assess true information.  Does your perception of reality fit the outline given by the KGB agent?

I disagree with the notion that an individual's awareness cannot change until a military boot crashes down on him. I believe, the capacity to absorb new information is on a wide spectrum and changing the perception of reality requires an ever-increasing awareness like filling the glasses above. Wikileaks is one case in point.

Life is really not a question of half empty or half full but that of filling our glass to its capacity and expanding our level of consciousness.

  1. It is amazing how the programming becomes a person's coping mechanism. I suspect it is a brilliantly devised built in loop (catch22) that keeps even more people enamored of their dominators.
